That is so true, I love watching animal's attacks, I don't know why. I think it is because their instincts are so dead on, and they are true to their instincts which brings lunch to their plates more often than not.

The enemy is not acting based on instincts, he's smart, he knows what he's doing; isolating ourselves is making his job easier, walking into his dinning room and laying on the table before supper.

I love it... sometimes what you say makes no sense to you but if you are saying what the Fthers tells you to say somebody is being touched. And vice versa, sometimes you think you are being incredibly eloquent and if it doesn't have the Father's blessing is useless.

So good Mel.. this week I listened to a podcats by Bob Sorge and he said that the exile to Babylon was allowed by God because He wanted His bride's heart, even if that meant He had to let them go to Babylon to get that heart purified.

I want Him to purify me and my marriage even if that means exile, but I never want Him away from us. Really good!

Last night my husband and I were talking about the house we want to buy, and how me not having credit is making it so difficult for us. At one point I said I wish I would have started building my credit when I first got her, I should have gotten a Credit Card, something!

And my husband said "then God would not be able to show us the kind of God we serve." So true!! It's easy to freak out, but it's important to remember who HE is.

Good one Mel :-) It's a lot like working out...you're never going to see results in a day, probably not even a week...but once you follow through with the goal, the changes will become visible and the reward will be greater than any short-cut fad diet. It has a lot to do with faith, cause Lord knows sometimes his promises take a lifetime to see (Moses!).

Love this post!
I have been trying to figure out how all my desires will every unfold into what I'm supposed to do... And Africa seems so far away sometimes. Even my life calling? I wonder if it will find me or if I'm in it and don't know it? But I too am encouragec by the recent opportunities that God has allowed me to be a part of... witnessing, sharing His love and loving on all the children here locally. I still hope that one day Africa will come, but I too want to live a part of my dream today! I am so so excited hearing about your recent venture! As Annonymous said, it takes alot of small things to make the big picture! SO SO TRUE :)

Good word. When I am feeling weakest, and the emptiest in life, giving fills me quicker than most any other thing. There is a true refreshing that comes from serving and helping others. Especially when you listen to the promting and take the opportunities as the spirit leads. You are reminded so quickly of all the things that we have and take for granted. I often find myself steping back and thanking God with a whole new understanding of his love, compassion, mercy and grace. I recently have been really encouraged and enbraced by His beautiful 'artshows in the sky' as the sun has set here... Knowing that something so ordinary to most, means so much to me... it's like getting a "Smile, I love you" card from God. Thanks so much for sharing, Mel.

Many people want to be put on a stand and forget about the light. I love your take on things. Most of the time as a Christian our work is unnoticed, not that it is unimportant work, there are many small tasks to make the bigger picture. I hope everyone that reads this takes you up on your challenge to really look at the why and not the what will I get in their motives.
